Creating off-chain option to buy tokens

I think it would be wise to think about an off chain alternative to buy tokens. There are several people i know who would like to invest but a scared because off the high tx-costs. Better to onboard all possible customers than loosing them. Most customers wont move the tokens away from IC anyway. Additionally IC would save the tx-fees to send the tokens into a wallet. Im not up to date if/when those tx-costs issues will be solved. Also i think there are many people who would like to have exposure to crypto without reading into tx-costs, different chains and so on. What you guys think of this?

We could use a sidechain or some other L2 solution to reduce tx costs once inside the Invictus ecosystem. I am not aware of any solutions that will void the tx costs associated with investing though (i.e. these are always blockchain transactions)

Matthew Finlayson: Are we talking fiat onboarding? Maybe a dumb question, but what's the issue in processing the investments in batches, hop onto L2 in one go (or one go for each token) and only after that distribute the tokens to individual user's L2 wallets?
Also, why's the full custodial solution with tokens existing only in Invictus DB and minting only upon withdrawal not OK? Not transparent enough and additional complexity for NAV-per-token?
